Today’s style is inspired by the warm spring weather we have been experiencing here in New England. I received these pieces courtesy of Daniel Wellington and Romwe. I had to toss on a light jacket because today was still a bit cooler than the weather I’m looking forward to, but it was very comfortable and I FINALLY don’t need a jacket, scarf, and mittens when I leave the house on frigid winter days.
This outfit is easy to throw together because it’s less than five pieces. You have the romper from Romwe which is super comfortable and only $17.99 which is an absolute steal! I suggest sizing up when ordering from them and carefully reviewing the size chart because this is Medium and I’m usually a Small which definitely would not have fit. The maroon color with the light pink flowers makes it perfect for early spring. The material holds up well and it flatters the figure. You can’t see the sleeves here but they are flowy and just above the elbow, falling nicely.
The heels are by Vince Camuto and were a steal I found at Nordstrom Rack last month. I wear them to work all of the time because they pair well with simple colors and never hurt your feet! I always find great shoe deals at the Rack and at Nordstrom’s main store. I have been consistently been adding to my heel and wedge collection for the spring/summer. They had a big sale just last month so I had to scoop a few things 🙂
Spring is coming so obviously I had to throw a flower in my hair since that’s my go-to accessory in warmer months. It is a big light pink flower that picks up the lighter tones in the dress. To make the look brighter I went with a light wash denim jacket as opposed to a darker wash. This jacket also flatters curves well and fits snug over the romper without making it uncomfortable by pulling on the material.
… you know what spring means? Showing leg (lots of it). To enhance the appearance of your legs, other than with a nice pair of high heels, I recommend using a baby oil lotion like Johnson’s Baby Lotion with Aloe & Vitamin E. At night I use the Jergens tanning moisturizer and during the day I use Johnson’s. Both have the perfect amount of moisture and keep your legs soft & smooth all day!
The Daniel Wellington ‘Dapper‘ collection is well… DAPPER! I love their carefully crafted timepieces. They come in various bands and face sizes for men and women. The styles are very simple and classic, so they look great with just about any outfit. I always go with a larger face (36mm) because I like the look of them better, but the smaller size is also very feminine chic and a bit more dainty. It is easy to adjust the time and the face is clear to read.
