Fall Fashion With CHIC Consignment 🍂

Transitioning from summer to fall in New England is subtle at first then hits you straight on. Having a few basic pieces can for when it starts to get cool makes the switch that much easier. I picked up a few favorites from CHIC Consignment, a consignment shop in Andover, MA to show you how I styled a few outfits for September on. They have a great selection of apparel and accessories (especially handbags) for you to choose from and at a reasonable price-point.
My #1 when transitioning from summer to fall is incorporating more deep colors; less pastels. For these looks I focused on burgundy, cream, brown, and (one my fall favorites) orange!

Look 1

This super soft Mumu velvet dress is the perfect piece for fall because of the color and fabric. It picks up the light and looks adorable paired with a vintage denim jacket (the one shown is by Liz). I preferred the off-shoulder look for that feminine touch.
The Ransom and Scout newsprint clutch has hints of orange, black, and beige which accent the entire outfit; especially these Dries Van Noten pumps! Because of the high neck I wore a high pony and big hoop earrings to accentuate the shape of the piece.

Everything about this look is perfect for the office! If it’s still a bit warm during the day and chilly at night this Maje blazer can be taken off. It is a light beige that is perfect for early fall. The brown Ellen Tracey tank has a bit of a sparkle and the printed Louis Feraud skirt featuring cream, brown, and green is one I love! In my opinion, animal prints are 100% perfect for fall.

The Maje blazer even looks cute over the shoulder. Paired with a pump, you’ll be ready for a date night in this look. These are a Steve Madden sandal that are my ideal height for work (around 3.5″). I love to carry a Kate Spade bag. This is a Crossbody Satchel that can be paired with just about anything. The colors are so simple and classic.

Look 3

By far one of my favorite pieces is this Alice and Olivia bomber jacket. Is this not one of the cutest bombers you’ve seen? I freaking love it. Over this classy Essue red jumpsuit and studded Prada pump you’ve got yourself a look. Everything about this screams showstopper! I particularly love this look for an evening event (say dinner, drinks, networking). With a simple black necklace and diamond earring you don’t need to go over-the-top with your accessories.
If you live in Massachusetts or New Hampshire and love boutique or consignment shopping then CHIC is for you. Their selection is so full you’ll leave with a bag full of seasonal and evergreen picks.

Orange is 100% my favorite fall color too! I love all shades of rust for when the weather drops. And I LOVE that animal print skirt too!
