White Wine for Summertime: My Top 5 Picks

Love wine and love summer? I’m right there with you! Being a bit of a wine lover myself, I have been tasting and pairing white wine with my meals this spring. As I went along in tasting I realized something…

I actually have a taste for white wine!

This may seem silly for some of you but I always turned away from white wine. Going from drinking cheap rose in college to quality red wines post-grad really changed me as a person. At no point did I really give white wine a true chance – that is, until I took a few courses in wine.

Having an open mind with drinks should be approached the same way as food, what would I enjoy this with and is it something I’ve tried before? If you are picky about food then I recommend opening your palate to the amazing global cuisines available. WINE, my friends, is the same.

My Top 5 White Wine Picks

1 | Bees Knees Chenin Blanc – Viognier

2 | Martin Ray Chardonnay

Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

3 | Raymond Reserve Selection Sauvignon Blanc

4 | Villa Farnia di Farnese Pecorino

5 | Francis Ford Coppola Votre Santa Chardonnay

All of these are delicious and are only a small selection of the ones I have tried. Soon I will be posting full pairings and recipes on the Wine & Dine section of my blog with the Napa Valley wines we collected during our time in California. Stay tuned for more must-trys!

Now that I have tried a collection of white wines from Vinovations and direct vineyards I can tell right away when my tastebuds pop! Sign up for their subscription (my favorite delivery program) to have new picks delivered to your door each month.

They are many brands of wine available in the market. I think white wine is best all over the world. Many people drink wine at any time in the day and many drinks one time in the day. The picks that you share in this article is perfect. Thanks for your personal information.
