Citizens Bank invited me to host their Party In The Park at Lawn on D in Boston this June  Of course, I was all over this opportunity as I’ve become somewhat of a self-proclaimed personal finance ninja myself 🎉 I believe it is so important to know not only how to save money but where to put your money so it makes you even more money. Doesn’t that have a nice ring to it?

Before getting further into the nitty gritty of managing money, let’s take a look at how awesome this day was! Major props to the Boston community for coming out even in the somewhat gloomy weather ☁ Nothing can stop us from having a great time.

Citizens Bank had Lawn on D ready to party. There was corn hole, giant jenga, a cash machine for charity, and other fun entertainment. On top of that they were giving out food vouchers so you could grab a bite during your time there. The set-up was very cool and I could see how much fun everyone was having.

Now onto the good stuff cus’ money talks…

Pause for a minute and don’t go opening a checking account with just anyone ⚠ You want to make sure you’re getting a good rate, note the monthly maintenance fee, and understand the pros and cons to navigating the website and app. I love how modern Citizens Bank has built their site to be and how easy they make it to deposit checks, check your balances, and send money to friends and family through Zelle.

You can open a Citizens Bank Checking Account for a $0 monthly maintenance fee while you’re under the age of $25 which is a major win 💰 Their student savings account has no minimum upon opening so you can get on the fast track sooner than later.
